So with the new feedback system, the obvious fake negative (and fake positive) feedback has started happening. Right now, it takes forever for staff to remove the fake negative ratings.

So there should be a dedicated staffmember to take a look at all the reports of people's feedback before it starts getting out of hand.

I honesty don't think it would be needed if I and the other mods has perms to remove them as we can't even do that right now
well, that would be the least of this suggestion. If each mod gets perms for that, I guess it would help. I was assuming it was time, not perms, that was the limiting factor. since its not, that needs to be fixed first.

I just want to ask why there is a position just for Resources? I understand Chat Mod, but in my mind this is the ideal setup -

3 Administrators
5 Moderators
5 Chat Mods
1 Feedback Mod
2 Scam Resolvers

Ajdin What the hell were you guys thinking with this system? You really think it's not going to be abused? The only legitimate way to do this is for all feedback to directly reference a thread with proof that you were the buyer, or integrate it into an on-site marketplace system which only allows you to leave feedback AFTER completing a successful trade and lasting until the moment of chargeback or other dispute.

Otherwise, it's not a fair system.[DOUBLEPOST=1457137291][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit to what I said, this system is a complete joke, just as expected. I don't know what the hell you were thinking.

The thread thing kind of exists in this new system, although I believe that in order to implement it like you suggest would be too much of a chore.

My suggestion is that trade feedback moderation be a duty for Scam Resolvers. Where the feedback must be moderated before being publicly displayed, much like posts in scam reports. With the recent rule and marketplace changes hopefully there will be less workload on Scam Resolvers - which would hopefully increase the feasibility of this suggestion.

It's a custom coded add-on, feedback should only be able to be left after either:
  1. A thread is locked and marked as sold, and the buyer can choose 1 person to leave feedback (it's a custom add-on, should've been made the feature anyway)
  2. An actual trade happens in an actual marketplace system

Scam report staff aren't slaves. I feel bad enough for people like M6Gaming who have common sense but still spend their time helping kids resolve $5 disputes that would've been prevented if they would've been less stupid and careless. They shouldn't deal with moderating a crappy system that shouldn't be in place anyway. They're volunteers for Christ's sake...

I know first hand what it's like to be a Scam Resolver - however this thread suggests that a new staff group is created (with new staff members added to it). My point is that this be added to Scam Resolvers, instead of forming an entire new group, and possibly increase the number of Scam Resolvers.

It's a crappy job even if it involves 5 minutes of work a day.

Anyway, the suggestion is bad and the fundamentals of what the suggestion is being implemented on (i.e. the trade feedback system) is also bad. It has no bearing.[DOUBLEPOST=1457137988][/DOUBLEPOST]By the way, this is the new rep system at work. This is all that'll happen:
