Sorry, I should've outlined the date or something. Anyway, no one has an answer to this? I don't think it's a mistake on the site, I am assuming it's owned by Mojang.

This happened with the account Marc (mojang employee) around the same time this was changed. Probably just Mojang screwing us all over some more.

This could very well be Mojang testing one of the aspects of the name change feature before it was open to the public.
