Videos aimed for (starting) server owners!

Heya everyone

I've been thinking of starting to make videos on Youtube. This would be aimed at everyone who would like to start making a Minecraft server, or whoever wants to know more information about a certain topic.

In these videos I would give information on how to start, run, manage & maintain a server.
Giving information such as what you need to start a server, how you can advertise your server, how to make a profit off it, get a proper staff team, and whatsoever.

Since I don't really have "too much' time, this would probably be something like a weekly video, maybe I will prerecord videos and start uploading them after I have like 10 recorded/edited.

The reason why I would like to start this is that people ask me questions on a daily/weekly basis about how they should handle things on their server. Besides that, I also like to do this and I think it would help a lot more people out who's just getting started on this new adventure.

I would also go really in-depth in these topics/tutorials, how they can setup specific things like a webstore and link it with their server. Some will be informational videos while others will be more technical but "noob-friendly".


I would like to get some feedback on it, what you think of this idea, and perhaps any ideas you have for me or any topic you would want me to make a video about it!

Good luck, when you do release them, make sure to put them in a playlist on youtube and I'll definitely watch them. make sure to state your experience in the first vid though, because otherwise, some players may think you don't have enough knowledge.

Will do that for sure! About to release my new server in a few weeks so I'll probably wait until then to record my first video (maybe I'll record some other vids before that) Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!

I think it's a really great idea!

I am a server owner but I don't talk too much with other server owners and even though I have made mistakes (and continue to do so - oops) haha I can still use advice and guidance!

I think if I had a starting guide or something with some guidance etc when I started that would have saved me a lot of headaches (and money!)

I know I used to watch a lot of Koz4Christ's tutorials back in the day and he often would mention his server that he used to have. The other person that does that too sometimes is the Breakdown.

I am sure there are tons more too but something aimed towards what you are planning would be great imo.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, i agree that a guide or tutorial would havd bedn handy when i started my own server, I hope I can start with this asap!
