Or you could have 2 harddrives, one for backups and one for the servers. Remove the backup one when your not using it, and when you need to take a backup, put it in and then remove it.

But then you have a chance of drive failure , Fine most data centers use good hardware, but like if you're getting hacked then whats the point of having good drives if you're getting hacked. Eh, IMO getting a server from KimSufi and use that as a backup server. Most to all of there servers come stock with a 2TB drive (site says 1TB, but i have 3 with 2TB drives )
