What do you use to calculate?

Hello everyone!
I'm currently in the process of creating a Prison server economy, i have my ways of deciding prices and so forth, but i was wondering what the community uses?
What did you all use to decide what's inside the mine/price/sell/ranks,so on?
Just interested to know to possibly bettter my methods.
My way is a bit slow and hopefully looking for something easier to use

I used my Mr.Math genius (My Dev)

He made some excel charts with ranking difficulty, making sure it was going UP and not DOWN!

For an old server I had:
Editing the base price or multiplier would change all the pricings.

I used to have this simple formula... More like previous rank price x 1.5, and I'd occasionally put an exponent in there.

Yeah, that's the method i use, was just wondering if someone had something more efficient and easier.
Guess ill stick to this method
