What to do with $250?

Hey guys,
I need help with what the most effective way to advertise my network would be. It's a very unique network that gets a decent player count because it's unique, but we just need to get it out there to get it booming.

Hmm. Maybe pay for advertising on voting sites, or another way is to find a good youtuber with a lot of subs and pay them every week to promote the server. If your server is truly good and unique the money you pay the youtuber should double (if people are buying donor ranks, ect)

I honestly feel that that'd bring a lot of spambots; I'm like 75% sure you're joking, though.

Find several youtubers that get 1K+ views per vid.
Order maybe 3-5 episodes from each of them. You can probably get 3 vids from each person for $30.
If you get 5 Youtubers with 1K+ views for each vid, and get 3 vid from each Youtuber - you'll get a pretty good player base.

That seems to be a good way to gain players as I'm a unique network and they'll stay if the YouTuber keeps coming back. By the time the series ends, they'll already be hooked onto the server and won't really care about the YouTuber. That is, at least, my theory on that method. Thanks for the post, man!

I'd say get the most popular youtuber possible and search for ones who usually play on your type of server. Those guys will bring a lot of their fanbase.
