Why do you code?

So, why do you code? Do you do it for the money or just a learning experience?

At first, I did it for money but then realized that I wouldn't get far. So, I'm doing it for fun and it's quite cool! I get to make the kewl stuff.

I'm tagging Myiume cuz I'm most curious about him.

I started to do it because I had this one friend who was a major show off and I knew the things he did couldn't be that hard to make xD But after doing that I started to really enjoy it. Nothing is better than making a plugin for a server and seeing tons of people get excited for it

As ItsMonkey said, creating something from mere ability and imagination with free will to create what you would like.
Also it's kind of my job goal.
