Word Requirement Per Post

Basically, every day I see at least three "GLWS" posts and "Vouch!" posts, and "Cool Build" or "Might Buy" . These are basically post farmers and it's against the rules, however there's nothing being done about it. Why not add a word requirement? "GLWS"? That means nothing, explain why you like it. "Vouch!" ? Why should people trust your vouch if you don't give any information? "Cool Build" ? Sure, a ton of builds on here are cool, why is this one better?

Don't press disagree if you're guilty of this yea, I might check all ur posts and see

I've seen one user that is only 2 weeks old here and they match my messages count, and you know why. Not mentioning any names.

Sometimes short answers aren't considered shitposting... perhaps a minimum of three? That way people can't just get away with the basic GLWS, etc.

Maybe just black-list some words?
Cause people will always just do something like
Good Luck With Sales.
Or Vouch. I trust Him!

A lot of people have the need to reply to every thread they view, and it is really annoying.

People will do this regardless to wether or not a system is added. There's no point in them spending time to make this, or do what Zeiyon said and blacklist certain words.

It has already been said, but not much will be achieved by this. Most people who spam words would copypaste if it was a word requirement of any size, while the larger you make it the more inconvenient for those who refuse to spam.
Simply continue reporting the posts with less than 3 useful words.

Thats not post farming.
Because I didnt just say a generic message.
It applied to that situation, and not just every situation.
Unlike GLWS however, which can be said on about 80% of the threads on MCM.

I suppose I can see your reasoning in that sense. I'm still not in favor of imposing a limit because I think it will require a bit to work to implement, for not much gain in post quality; people will still shitpost. They'll just have to try a bit harder.

You can just report those posts as spam if you ask me. Because it is spam. If staff start dishing out warnings for that kinda shit, people will eventually stop doing it.

Will probably do more good than harm, although it does remove a bit of potential wit from posts. (Sometimes less is more!)
