While browsing this site, I noticed a thread and came up with an idea. Basically, it would allow Youtubers to sign up, through their Google accounts and input the price they charge for videos. It could be just like a listings site almost where the listings could be organized by many different ways. Their could even be a "premium" section where Youtubers could pay to have a top slot.

Listings Organization Types:
  1. Most Subscribers
  2. Most Views
  3. Views Per Video
  4. Most Expensive
  5. Least Expensive
I am curious if people would be actually interested in viewing this. The site could become quite useful for server owners. We could even keep it broaden to allow a search for games allowed. We could support various games like Minecraft, CS:GO, Garry's Mod, etc.

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Youtubers don't have set amounts for videos.. Everybody seems to miss this.

If somebody with $1,000,000 comes to them, they'll charge 10 times more than someone with $100 - but they'll likely take both up.

How does that make sense?

What Administrator means is that it really depends on the people approaching youtubers. He means that youtubers don't not have a set price for their vids. To make this clear, he used an exaggeration :p But yeah, Verringer is right. A lot of youtubers that actually do vids not as a "buisness" don't have set prices. Think of the bigger youtubers that mostly try to establish their community in stead of going all for the money.
The only reason most of them 'try to establish their community' is because they're already making so much money, they probably have nothing else to do. There's a point they all hit where they don't have to work for it anymore, they just wake up, do their routine, and people throw thousands of dollars a month at them. Then Ad revenue on top of that, and if they're youtube, even more from their view count.
I'm not saying they're all in it for the money, just %99 are.
Same with Minecraft Server owners, we're not all in it for the money, and we can even lie to ourselves and say we aren't, but 99% of us are without a doubt.

I've seen a lot of Youtubers charge set prices. e.x. $1000/video, etc.

I've seen some with high set prices and some more leinient, I hired Deadlox for a server I was working for, he was very chill on the price and had a kinda "Pay me whenever" attatude, but he was already making about $15,000 a month so he didn't care much apparently. Now I know why he only charges ~$400 a video though. A: he doesn't actually know how to play Minecraft, he just sucks off his other big youtube friends, and B: He'll make a copy of your server for his network if it's popular enough in the videos. Real 10/10 guy.
