XenForo or Enjin?

It's preferences for you, e.g do you actually know how to config and install plugins for XenForo? Do you wish to do your own support system for your own forums? Do you not want to pay monthly?

The only difference I see from Xenforo and Enjin is 2 main factors:

Xenforo:
- You have more addons you can install.
- You only have to pay for once; install this on a dedicated server machine? ( Correct me if I'm mistaken )

Enjin:
- You have to pay monthly
- You don't have alot of addons you can install unless you have a web-dev for it.

It depends all on you man. I just like Enjin so I don't have to do the bug fixing and it already supplies the essentials things I need for a server.

MYBB is what my developer is planning to use but is still struggling to figure out how to set up.

Enjin if free.

I would go with MyBB. If you need help with setting MyBB up then inbox me. Also, if your developer can't setup MyBB then I think you might need a better developers (it's really easy to install - it has a simple and effective installation wizard).

You can get themes from Audentio Designs for around $40-$70. Enjin has more to offer for Minecraft servers (that's why Mineplex uses it), but t XenForo looks better in my opinion.

That's not the reason why MinePlex uses it.. lol.

If that's true, why doesn't Hypixel, HiveMC, Arkham, and so much larger networks use it? Because they're limited to how many capabilities they can do with it.

Why make a portal?

Thats literally a waste of life - all you need is forums just forums you can put staff apps in forums and so on.

However if you plan on getting 9 year olds then maybe a portal is good for their dads to check donating requirements and pay with CC.
