With 5 years of experience I wouldn't expect you to use a template for your portfolio, instead of making your own portfolio and showing what you're able to make. The fact that you use a template for your portfolio makes me doubt you have 5 years of experience developing websites.

Also the fact that you stole code makes me doubt you can even develop websites at all. I'm guessing you can't design your own pages at all without tutorials and you don't know what it actually is to be a web developer.

Well, I started web development in my Freshmen year of highschool. I've done every advanced class related to web development throughout my high school career. If you know how to count that means I had so far 4 years of experience. Its been a year since I graduated college and I still need some help with some aspects such as mySQL and stuff like that so I do sometimes refer to my highschool textbooks which we purchased. I am pretty sure I know what a web developer is... a person who can develop websites :/. I dont know who you are but you seem pretty rude just to go around and talk shit to people. I think I already apologized above soooo what ever you said is not needed. Please keep the thread on topic.

I didn't say you don't know what a web developer is, I said you didn't know what it is to be a web developer. A web developer has to put many hours on their projects, and it's a pain to see other "developers" just using templates and codes from other websites.
Anyways, you're right, I was rude. I just can't stand people that call themselves web developers when they steal code, use templates, and leave many people disappointed.
