Today I'm searching for a position on a semi-known server (15+ Playerbase) to moderate, and become a moderator on.
I do not have much experience moderating large servers. But you must start somewhere. I have moderated on small server's, none noteworthy. I am currently a helper on Royalty PvP, but plan to depart if I can find a position as a moderator via these forums.
I myself am one dedicated to the act of helping others, and helping people reach where they want to get to. My reason for applying for a moderating position on your server is to improve the player experience, and make sure everyone enjoy's there time playing.
I bring lot's to the table when moderating. I am very profound in Networking, and have helped huge server's, even one's such as MC-Gamer, solve there issue's in the networking area.
I want to bring my problem solving and administration skills to a different place in Minecraft, this time being in the actual game itself, moderating in game.
What I offer:
- Chat Moderation | Chat Moderation in my eye's, is making sure a server's set chat rules are kept that way, and any dis-obeying the rules, with not be tolerated. I will keep the chat clean, and the way the rules are set for it to be, while not just keeping it clean, but interacting with other players, engaging in conversations, and so on. That brings me on the next point.
- Engagement | While keeping the chat clean, no one likes a boring, strict moderator. Engagement, in-game and out of game, via forum sites, and more, is key! I will engage with all players, interact in conversations, play faction's with fellow players, do events, and more! This will make player's feel like they are one with the server!
- In-Game Moderation | While Chat-Moderating is wanted, taking action outside of the shoutbox is needed as well. I will take a civil and mature approach to dealing with multiple things that disobey server rules, such as Hacking, Cheating, and so on. My countless experience brings a lot to this section, and I know how to deal with most problems that occur.
