How HyServers Is Different
Rankings are driven by an 8-factor algorithm that weighs votes, uptime, player count, reviews, freshness, profile quality, server age, and trust. No single metric dominates. Vote counts use logarithmic scaling, so a server with 1,000 votes doesn't completely drown out one with 100. New servers get a temporary ranking boost so they aren't invisible on day one.
Every weight is public. Server owners can see exactly how their score is calculated and what to improve - no black box, no guessing.
