I'm more of a community guy, and forums are a good place to advertise. So you could get more subs while helping him out for free!

That's a pretty dang good idea, one good thing I found to boost subscribers and subscriber engagement is contests. I'm doing a Minecraft account giveaway at the moment and have already got like 50 comments + 20 subscribers from it

PS: I had like 8 at the start so I more than doubled it xD
