Good question! So there's two big parts. With YouTube that ad money goes through Adsense, so Google is making money off of those ads that you are running. They can take anywhere from 10-25%. So whatever is left goes through your Network, lets say I'm partnered with Machinima, their standard is like 60% yours, 40% goes to them. So at the end of the day you are left with a fraction of the initial money made off of that ad.

At MeVee, we take 30% and that's it. Payments are made within the next 24-48 hours. Also we have exclusive deals with specific ad companies so they will show the same ad 2, 4 times on a stream therefore the CPM goes up naturally since its the same ad.
