    Ya a mod is definitely possible but another way is like to just do something like /godapples and then it takes all the apples and gold blocks in your inv and replaces them with god apples.

    I'm not to sure since I am still learning the Bukkit API but I don't think this would be possible on a vanilla server since you would have to add a keybinding or macro or whatever into the game itself that isn't server sided.
