I think factions is dead, "normal" factions servers was hype in 2014/2016
Old player dont want to play factions again because is really tryhard we just want to play for fun, parkour, mini-games, skyblock, rush, but not factions
Still worth i think but you have to inovate, pvp/faction hype is out, now is mini-games and others things that work.
You can also if you have a real budget pay a good team to develop custom game like DayZ, Fortnite, or somethings like that :)
