    you might be able to do it with $1000 i guess, but you will need to build it yourself to lessen the price. find 8GB ram (Minimum), Intel I5 (Minimum), 1TB HDD (but try to get 500GB SSD), and a decent GPU, the GPU you will have to find out yourself.

    for something like that, any studying laptop would be fine, like the Asus zenbook or Acer aspire or some flat laptop, or something similar. Try looking simply for an 8gb ram intel i5 laptop, I would say those would go for around $800, you could also just get an intel i3 laptop for a bit cheaper...
