    Do you use multiverse? If so, it could also be a problem with multiverse trying to set chat prefixes/formats of its own. You can fix that in the multiverse config.

    Something might be wrong with the YAML code in your config. For example, you might have misplaced your quotations around your broadcast message in your config, which is leading to an error.

    Best Anti-Cheat for a factions server?

    As Sam says, it depends on your budget. For a free anti-cheat, NoCheatPlus with a custom config is the best you can get IMO. Spartan is also a really good paid anti-cheat for factions (1.8). I have personal experience with Spartan, and I am very pleased with it so far.
