need help fixing a config

Hello, I need help fixing a config for PEX and essentials chat. Perms work, but the chat is not being formatted how it is set up to do. Can anyone help me?

Essentials folder > Config > EssentialsChat, then edit the format.

dont run the server if you can't the basic things of essentials.

Do you use multiverse? If so, it could also be a problem with multiverse trying to set chat prefixes/formats of its own. You can fix that in the multiverse config.
