Make-A-Wish Fundraiser, Reputation Updates, & more!

Does the new GDPR compliance also provide a way to get one's information deleted? GDPR provides the right to erasure (right to be forgotten), and currently MCM only offers bans which keeps your information. GDPR, as I understand it, would require you to provide a complete account deletion.

When a ban evader actually does good services.

Well, if you look at examples like Jad, you can see that they are really fucked up. But if you look at slooth, you can see that he really is fucked up, but has managed to go unbanned.

    Make Lenders Comply

Oh okay. But in this case, applying US law to MCM wouldn't make sense. Forcing the US law for me, a danish citizen, wouldn't benefit Mick or me, so it really doesn't make sense. If I get a loan from a US citizen with an interest rate at 50%, which is well over the 10% limit, I am breaking the...

    Make Lenders Comply

My understanding is that all Australian laws apply to MCM. MCM may very well not be offering the laws themselves, but in the TOS it states that users may not upload, post or trasmit anything that violates the law. The law in this case being Australian law. He even uses this as a basis for one...

    Make Lenders Comply

Isn't 10% as the interest rate limit kind of misleading? I just read a little online, and interest rate limits differ from state to state, ranging anywhere from 8% to 48% to no limit. And in any case, MCM is based in Perth, Australia, so the US law doesn't apply here. I tried finding the...

    Senoxus - XenForo's Next Rival.

Using 3 different languages for a back-end seems a little complicated. That will be a nightmare for anyone wanting to set it up on their server. How do you plan on packing 3 languages together? I wish you good luck. :)

    Senoxus - XenForo's Next Rival.

What is the back-end written in? PHP, JS, Java, could even be C# for that sakes. :P

    Have fucking https

From a more technical standpoint: With the amount of requests each of MCM's pages send, HTTPS could enable a "new" (it's quite old at this point) protocol called HTTP/2, what it does is route all the requests through one TCP pipeline. This means that it only opens one request to each host, so it...

    Senoxus - XenForo's Next Rival.

What would this include in terms of features, and what would it be written in? A couple things here; Node isn't used to make SPAs, Node is a runtime, it is used to run JavaScript server-side. The other frameworks you listed are front-end frameworks, which you're right, can make SPAs, but I'm...

    Promoting Good Content (rel="nofollow")

A little comment on this, in accordance with Google's (and probably the other big search engines) ToS, any paid content has to have the rel="nofollow" attribute, or else it could be viewed as what's known as buying backlinks. So this has to be implemented for normal content only. If ever...
