Astral Storage Network adds a clean shared-storage system for Hytale servers.
Players can link multiple chests to one controller and access the combined storage through a portable terminal. It is designed for shared bases, multiplayer storage rooms, and large storage systems where opening every chest manually becomes annoying.
Items can be inserted through the terminal or directly into linked chests. The network updates and synchronizes automatically, so linked chest contents stay connected to the terminal view.

## Permissions
-
Normal players do not need this permission to use their own terminals and storage networks.
## How it works
1. Craft the controller and terminal at the normal workbench under Tinkering
2. Place a network controller
3. Bind a terminal to the controller with F or right-click
4. Link chests to the network with the bound terminal using F or right-click
5. Insert items through the terminal or directly into any linked chest
6. Open the terminal to browse, search, sort, deposit, and withdraw items

## Multiplayer
Astral Storage Network is built with multiplayer storage in mind.
Network owners can share access with other players, making it useful for community bases, team storage rooms, and large multiplayer worlds.
Players can be given only the permissions they need, such as terminal access without chest-linking rights.
## Performance
The storage backend was designed for larger networks.
It uses cached network state, per-network storage data, safer terminal refresh behavior, and optimized update handling to reduce unnecessary refreshes and server load.

- Unsupported or unsafe item previews may be hidden from the terminal to protect players from client UI crashes
- The repair command is mainly intended for server owners/admins if chests were removed in unusual ways
- The performance command is mainly intended for debugging and server-side troubleshooting
