epicRecycler v1.0.25 Update​

EpicRecycler has received a major stability, economy, and protection update.

This version focuses on making the plugin safer for production servers, improving economy balance, fixing edge-case bugs, and making the recycling system more reliable.

Economy Improvements​

Some enchanted or custom tools could previously fail to return a proper reward if they were not listed in the coin value configuration. This has been improved by adding missing values for several equipment types such as pickaxes, shovels, hoes, leather armor, gold armor, chainmail armor, and more.

The recycling system is still designed to be economy-safe. Valuable materials such as diamonds, netherite, gold, and iron remain strictly controlled and are affected heavily by item durability.

Vault and Reward Safety​

Coin rewards are now checked more safely before a recycling process starts.

If Vault is missing, disabled, or the configured command reward is invalid, the plugin will no longer allow players to start a coin-based recycling process that could leave the machine stuck in a ready state.

This prevents item loss, broken reward claims, and economy issues.

Protection Hook Improvements​

GriefPrevention support has been improved, especially for machine breaking checks. The plugin now tries proper break permission checks first and uses a safe fallback for older or forked versions.

Towny and GriefPrevention hooks also now handle missing or disabled plugins more safely.

Command and Permission Improvements​

The /epicrecycler give command now correctly handles amounts larger than a single stack. For example, giving 100 recycler machines will now properly split the items into multiple stacks instead of silently giving only 64.

Tab completion has also been improved. Players will only see commands they have permission to use, and VIP machine options will not appear if VIP machines are disabled.

Language Improvements​

A fallback language system has been added. If a server is using an older message file and a new message key is missing, the plugin will now use the default internal message instead of displaying a raw message key.

Recommended​

This update is recommended for all servers using EpicRecycler, especially servers with economy rewards, GriefPrevention, Towny, or public/spawn recycling machines.

Update Notes​

After updating, it is recommended to:

• Regenerate or compare coin-values.yml
• Check your config.yml economy settings
• Run /epicrecycler reload
• Test one normal recycler and one VIP recycler if enabled
• Test GriefPrevention/Towny permissions if you use protection hooks
