What is RankedSMP?
RankedSMP is a competitive survival ranking system where players receive a random rank from #1 to #20 when the season starts.
Each rank gives different rewards. Higher ranks get more hearts, stronger potion duration boosts, faster XP gain and more extra inventory slots.
Players can climb the ranking by killing players with better ranks. If a lower ranked player kills a higher ranked player, they steal or swap ranks.
This makes your SMP more competitive, more fun and gives every fight real value.

Random Rank Assignment
When the season starts, all online players receive a random rank from #1 to #20.
Late Join System
Players who join after the season has already started stay unranked and play normal vanilla Minecraft.
Progressive Heart System
Rank #1 has 20 hearts and Rank #20 has 10.5 hearts. The better the rank, the more health the player receives.
Potion Duration Boost
Higher ranked players get longer potion effects. Rank #1 receives a 2.0x potion duration boost, while Rank #20 receives a small 1.05x boost.
XP Multiplier
Players earn XP faster depending on their rank. Rank #1 gets 3.0x XP and Rank #20 gets 1.10x XP.
Extra Inventory
Ranks #1 to #10 unlock extra inventory space. Rank #1 and #2 get a full 54 slot double chest style storage.
Rank Stealing
Kill a player with a better rank to swap or steal their position. This can be enabled or disabled in the config.
Rank Management GUI
Admins can manage ranks through a clean GUI. Move players, swap ranks, clear ranks and check rank holders easily.
TAB Plugin Integration
The system is made to work cleanly with TAB plugin setups. Rank display can be enabled or disabled depending on your server.
PlaceholderAPI Support
Placeholder ready system for chat, scoreboards, TAB layouts and other plugins that support placeholders.
Hierarchy Hammer
A custom mace weapon with a dash ability. Right click to dash forward. Land 4 successful smash attacks to trigger Verdict.
Verdict Ability
After 4 consecutive smash attacks, the next Verdict attack deals 2x damage and can break nearby terrain.
Miss Punishment
If the player misses the hammer combo, the ability goes on cooldown.
Dragon Egg Locator Experimental
Players holding a Dragon Egg can locate other players using the locator bar system. This feature is experimental and requires Minecraft 1.21.6 or newer.

How It Works
When an admin starts the season with /rsmpstart, every online player receives a random rank from #1 to #20.
The better the rank, the stronger the player becomes.
Rank #1 receives the best rewards:
- 20 hearts
- 2.0x potion duration
- 3.0x XP multiplier
- 54 extra inventory slots
Rank #20 receives smaller rewards:
- 10.5 hearts
- 1.05x potion duration
- 1.10x XP multiplier
- No extra inventory
Unranked players keep vanilla Minecraft stats.
If rank stealing is enabled, players can climb the ranking by killing players with better ranks. This creates a competitive survival experience where every PvP fight matters.
Hierarchy Hammer
The Hierarchy Hammer is a special custom mace included in the system.
It has:
- Dash ability
- Cooldown system
- Smash combo system
- Verdict ability
- 2x damage verdict hit
- Optional terrain destruction
Players can dash forward with right click. If they land 4 consecutive smash attacks, Verdict activates and the next attack becomes much stronger.
