Run custom map rotation and scheduled wipes for your Rust servers straight from the
Pterodactyl panel. Each Rust server gets a clean Maps tab in the client area. No
plugins to install, no Oxide mods, and no API keys to set up.
What you get
- A Maps tab on every Rust server.
- Build a rotation of custom maps. Paste a .map URL or upload a .map file and the
- Drag to reorder the rotation, or use the arrows.
- Per-map wipe type. Map only keeps player blueprints, Full wipes them too.
- Auto-wipe schedule: weekly, every two weeks, monthly, or every N days, at the time
- Sequential or random rotation.
- Optional in-game warning sent a set number of minutes before each wipe.
- A live countdown to the next wipe, with the current and next map shown.
- One button to wipe and rotate right now.
How the wipe works
The panel saves the server, switches it to the next map, stops it cleanly and forces
it down so the new map always applies, clears the old map and the matching save data,
then starts it back up. It talks to the daemon directly, so it works on every server
including your customers' with nothing to set per server.
Requirements
- Pterodactyl with the Blueprint framework installed.
- A Rust egg with the MAP_URL startup variable (the common eggs have it).
- Panel cron running for scheduled wipes. Manual wipes work without it.
Install
Place tovmaps.blueprint in /var/www/pterodactyl and run:
blueprint -install tovmaps
Full steps are in the included INSTALLATION.md.
Note
Custom maps must be saved with a RustEdit version that matches your current Rust
build, the same as any custom map server.
