Hello MCM, ParallaxMC is currently looking for more staff to help moderate our Network!

ParallaxMC is a Minecraft Network that includes household gamemodes such as Skywars, Factions, OP Skyblock, Kitpvp, OP Survival, Creative, and OP Prison. Our Network includes many custom made plugins across all gamemodes, which provides a fresh and unique experiences everywhere on the Network, including the Hub!
OP Skyblock is one of our premiere gamemodes, which includes elements from OP Prison and your traditional Skyblock expereince. Combined, this makes our Skyblock a fresh take on the age-old gamemode. Another gamemode I'd like to point out is our OP Prison, which includes backpacks, prestige, custom pickaxe enchants, and more!

We are looking for dedicated staff members who can be very active, as well as generally help players around the network! You may submit your application as a PM to me here on MCM.

Before submitting an application please be aware that Discord is required, and that all our new staff will start from the Helper position, but it is easy to climb up to Moderator or beyond as you proof your trustworthiness.

The following is an application for the Helper position on ParallaxMC. Please make sure all questions are answered and all your answers are detailed.

You must use this format when creating your application.

You should consider writing up a brief summary of the server. What is the gamemode, what makes it more unique than other existing gamemodes like yours, etc.

I am fluent in Spanish, and Italian. I am in AP Spanish and have been learning it since 6th Grade. I have also been speaking Italian since I was 3 years old.

2-3, 3-4, depends on the day
9. Do you have any past experience as a staff member? (If so, elaborate):
Yes. I have owned two servers in the past. I had a server a few months ago that had about 5-10 players per day. I invested a lot of time, money, and effort into it. Overall it was a good experience as I learned a lot about owning and managing a server and how to deal with players and staff.
10. How would you deal with a staff member breaking the rules?:
I would simply tell them it's not allowed, give them another chance and closely monitor them henceforth.
11. How are you different from other Applicants?:
I have ownership experience, I am mature, and I know a lot about plugins, ownership, and minecraft in general.
12. How do you believe you will benefit ParallaxMC as a Helper?:
I bring a lot to the table. I love playing minecraft, I love being part of a server and I love helping people out.

Situations: You will be given a situation and you must describe what you would do in detail.


Situation One: *Player joins the server* - Player1: Join our amazing server!! >advertisingisfun.net -- How would you deal with this situation?:
Give them a warning, if it persists then I would mute them.
Situation Two: Player one: Lmao fuck shit ass! -- How would you deal with this situation?:
Easily would mute them
Situation Three: Player one: Player two is hacking!! -- How would you deal with this situation?:
I would confront player two in /v to see if he is hacking or not. Then I would get deatails from player one. Then either temp ban or ban player two.
Situation Four: Player one: That staff member should just be demoted already!! They are the worst on the team! -- How would you deal with this situation?:
I would deescalate the situation, get the details and see if the staff member needs to be demoted or if player one was just being disrespectful.
Situation Five: Player one messages you: Helper1 is hacking! Help! -- How would you handle this situation?:
I would handle it the same as situation 3.
Situation Six: You constantly see another staff member spawning in items or abusing his commands on a random player -- How would you handle this situation?:
Tell the staff members to stop or else they will be demoted.
