These look somewhat familiar.
I believe they are similar to trees from a pack called "Flora & Fauna".

The roots are different, but the trunk and leaves are VERY similar.

They look similar indeed. I had this trees in a kitpvp map I made long ago, I'm pretty confident I did make these, maybe I got some inspiration out of those.

considering I've got a treepack with trees that look almost identical except for the roots (the same block formations in the trunk), I think you may have mistaken that.

that is probably best, as it would make sure the trees aren't too similar.
