Well tbh, if you look at the recent comments on you're post, you see that you are not very popular there, with things like and i quote "FYI, save your time AND money with this guy. I paid for plugins, and right after i pay his "internet" goes out, in which he used as an excuse to not even reply to me letting me know what was going on. He then came back a week later, for a total of 1 day, max? Then he dissapeared AGAIN for 2 weeks. only AFTER i escalated payments with paypal, had he pretty much INTSANTLY responded to me, and convinced me that he was going to get the projects done. He then half ass got them done, and then said he was going to be on all weekend, of which he never responded to me then, except when i was pretty much saying i was going to escalate the issue. When he did respond, all he said was something like "i am doing you a favor by working on the weekends" AFTER he went MIA and was 2 weeks overdue, LOL. Needless to say, this guy will take your money, and its pretty clear from the pattern of replies in the thread, I suggest the thread be removed so that he cannot scam anyone else, thanks."

From a buyer perspective I agree with you. However the first post you quoted is a guy I did work for almost 500$ USD, different plugins. All which I handed over the source codes and working jars. He opened about 11 chargebacks, all payments that he made for each plugin. Basically scammed me out of my work. I must say communication between the both of us wasn't great because I had intermittent internet and we were in different timezones.
The latter is someone having issues with the plugin because he wanted some changes after the final document was sent and paid for. Which is prohibited unless you pay. Here is a time lapse of his plugin created from start, working and tested.
With my experience you cannot please everyone and people will have issues with your services no matter how much you try.
I personally don't see vouch copies fit for me since I've been working for so long and with Digicel, a million dollar company. You can call Digicel Jamaica, speak to a NOC engineer and ask about the CMTS monitor program.

Good luck finding many customers that can afford $20/Hour on here. Not saying it's a high charge, but people tend to people pretty cheap on here.
Thank you for pointing that out. Prior to this I was actually charging more for my services, however when the market is screwed up as it is with kids offering services for extremely cheap you have no choice.
To be fair it is a relatively good price for a developer with a vast knowledge of software development, not only limited to Minecraft.
Yeah, but this is a Minecraft website so you're gonna need to advertise on a forum that's more diverse than this. I recommend something that purposely looks for coders instead of a market that gathers a bunch of preteens that like Minecraft.
A cell phone company..? And you use that to state that you can do the ob or whatever... Its a cell, phone company. These are people wanting plugins made for a game, and stuff...
My thread indeed has a part of my résumé, which is why key parts of my career are listed. If you look at the last point of the Digicel part you will see the CMTS monitor. It is written in Java & PHP. Spigot/Bukkit plugins are written in Java. I was given the opportunity to utilize my software development skills and made about four different programs for the company.
Digicel is not only a cell phone company. Matter of fact it is a Television, ISP and cell company. I had nothing to do with the cell part. I was an IT technician for the Television and ISP part of the company. I managed several Windows machines, Linux machines and even one Mac OSX server. I also dealt with wiring of the network in the headend and deploying servers and switches. (This is the reality behind Data centers like OVH). Down the line a client may need a systems administrator. Since I have experience in the field, and it's listed on my ad that client may hire me.
As stated before I am not just a Minecraft plugin developer. I've had clients before who hired me to make plugins, and from there they hired me to make websites and backend systems. I have a lot of experience and I will list it to stand out from the crowd.

I cannot say anything about MrHodge's skill and experience in plugin development since I didn't get to see any of it.. I contacted him on 24th of September about a plugin that I have that needs bug fixing, I originally found him on spigot forums and saw that he seems experienced from his thread so I contacted him. He seemed interested to take the job and asked for the source so I added him to the bitbucket and he went through the source so he can see if he can fix the problem. Overall it all seemed good and it looked like he was interested. He told me he is going to take a deeper look into it and after that he never responded. I did not pay him anything since he was meant to check out the plugin and give me a price so I did not lose any money but he did waste over a week of my time. Very unprofessional of him to just not respond. If he didn't have the skills to do the job he should have just let me know like a lot of other developers did before him and I would have moved on to another developer but he just ignored and wasted my time.

I'm sorry for letting go of your conversation over Skype. Sometimes I do make mistakes where I do not reply to a customer. I take full responsibility in this case. To justify why this happened, I reopened and there is a high flow of customers both from Spigot and MCM. I am one man and I cannot fully cover all departments of sales, management and the actual development. I did look over your plugin on Bitbucket and you do have a case where it's a bit difficult to trace back to the origin of the problem due to it being a networking issue(It involves a lot of testing, and reproduction of the problem). I never got a chance to get back in contact with you and let you know, and that is my fault. Again, I am sorry for what happened and if there is anything I can do for you please let me know.
