★ NEW Pixelmon Server! ★ Version?!

Hey everyone!
I have a question for you guys.
I'm developing a Unique Pixelmon Server,
but I don't know what would be the best version for it.
1.7.10 Would be the easiest since I can use cauldron instead of Sponge then.
Although, the newer 1.10 Pixelmon has much more features and Pokemon.
What do you players think you'd like the most?

1.10.2 pixelmon is great, features such as new pixelmon index's and such down side bukkit plugins and things of that nature do not work on sponge. So no essentials or any other plugin that would be suitable that would work with sponge except sponge "Mods" not plugins.

I may be wrong, but only a handful of servers support 1.10.2 right?

That is correct, I know a certain amount of pixelmon server's support 1.10.2 and Im currently on the look out for people who know how to update to support 1.10x down to 1.7x
