Yes.. there is? There is a license for everything. If you basically take thirty classes from a project, classify it as all yours, that's stolen code, that's not YOURS, you didn't make it yourself, someone did, you have to credit them, I assume that's what the poster was implying. Taking code from github and attributing it as code you wrote.

EDIT: Yes, some licenses are for disallowing redistribution, which is why the OP's statement could make sense(as in, developers steal code from repos where redistribution is not allowed and shit and use it on their own products which then they sell)
