1. "You paid me hardly nothing" then why did you agree to it? because you told me you were building a portfolio hence the lower price.

2. "You never asked for a responsive site?" .. WHO asks for this? It's the bare minimum for any commission.

If you go to a restaurant and buy a burger you can expect a box where the burger is in right? This is common sense. And saying you paid me hardly nothing doesn't give you the right to deliver a unfinished and unprofessional product to your client.
