What is Flewis Hosting:
Flewis Hosting is my take on what a real free server host should be like. With no time limits, No queue to start your server and no extra paying just to keep your server up. This is a very basic idea but I think it has a lot of potential to be good and create free servers for everyone!
I got the idea off of a plugin I saw in the spigot premium section called PlayerServers. This plugin allows players to create there own mini-servers that they can use to do things on like build a survival world and so on. But there was a small problem with the plugin... It has little to know customisation options and it's also not custom coded by me.
Anyway I hope this gives you a rough idea about what we do here at Flewis Hosting and I'll go into more details as I go on in this post.
How it Flewis Hosting works and why it's free:
Most people who are reading this probably will be thinking "whats the catch?". There is a catch but not one that will affect the server in a way that's bad and may even benefit your server in the long run. The catch is that ever server is connected to a main hub. By this I mean that you will have to join through a main hub to get to your server. The idea could put many of you off but it does come with some great advantages, for example I have added a GUI that players can use to connect to other player servers giving you free advertising and a way to get players who are bored of building on their own servers.
How to create a server and join it:
1. Join the server through the IP: freeservers.mcph.co (this IP will change once we are through the alpha stages of testing the server).
2. Use the command /create <name> - Instead of <name> you should put the name of the your server.
3. Then once the server is created use the command /startup <name> - This will start up your server every time you want to use it (replace <name> with your server name).
4. To join your server you can use /join <name> - Use your server name instead of <name>, or you can use the compass that's in the 5th slot of your inventory.
5. enjoy your server and look for new features that will be coming out soon
Optional Upgrades:
As you may know servers do cost money to run and especially 100's of servers. To fix this we have made it so you can buy extra upgrades to make your servers even better with more RAM and more players. Packages will be one time sales and will be fairly cheap because I'm more into getting a sustainable business than one that makes tons of money.
Server upgrades are still not released yet because this post is only for the very early alpha test.
I will start off with 3 tiers of packages + extra perks (I'll list them below):
Tier 1 - $5
512 MB of RAM instead of 256 MB
10 players instead of 5
Tier 2 - $10
768 MB of RAM instead of 256 MB
15 players instead of 5
In the server selector your join sign will be enchanted
Tier 3 - $20
1024 MB of RAM instead of 256 MB
20 players instead of 5
In the server selector your join sign will be enchanted
You can renew peoples servers for them
Custom Advert - $1 (per advert in chat)
This advertises your message on every other Flewis server with a custom message of your choice, for example (can contain colour codes) "&a&lJoin &2&lEpicServer101 &a&lwe have loads of cool mini-games!".
Other Details:
Servers must be renewed ever 10 minutes with the command /renew. It will prompt you when you can renew your server. This is just to stop owners afking on their servers.
Your server will never be deleted and will just stay in the database forever so no need to worry about your server going missing and deleting itself.
The IP to join our server is: freeservers.mcph.co (it will change later).
At the moment as we are in the alpha stages of development only a few servers can be opened at once and also many of the features are not working but we will be creating and fixing things as we go along.
Disclaimer:
Flewis Hosting is in ALPHA meaning that we have just created the bare basics of the server creator and server menu as of now but we will be adding new features in the future so don't come and complain about it having very little content.
The servers chat is broken and so are the prefix's. This means that you can see all server chat and also you have no chat prefix when you join.
What happened to the chat also apply for the TAB list but I'm fixing both of them!
Plugins will be added soon to players server don't worry!

It would be better to host from a different host but I need super reliable up times or the whole thing wont work. Also 1GB if forever and not just for a month so in the long run (or just 2 months) you will get it cheaper than at MCPROHOSTING.
