yeah that just shows you want someone to do work for free with the possibility of no payment, not as dedicated and 'serious' as you claim to be. perhaps change the method of recruitment. quite interested in who decides to work for you though good luck.

It shows that we want someone to do the work within our deadline. And if I'm remembering correctly didn't you work on the server before but then decided to ghost me for 1+ weeks? I think a timeline of 2 entire months to complete this is fairly reasonable and gives the developer a reason to stay motivated to the project. Trust me, we have the funds to pay to the developers but we don't want then taking 6 months on something if the intended target is 2.[DOUBLEPOST=1603975188][/DOUBLEPOST]And of course if some serious IRL issues come up or its something out of their control its completely going to be understandable to us and not count towards the deadline

I am assuming that because you are taking away $50 for every week it is completed late, that you will give the Developer an extra $50 for every week that it is completed early from the deadline. Meaning that if you complete it within two weeks, you will have an extra $300.

Keep in mind that for 2 months of work for $500 would be rather low in my opinion. However that depends on how many hours you think this would take a quality developer to do, that could be reasonable as I don't know any details.

$500 is just a general idea for pricing. As it says above we're definitely able to pay more and open for negotiation.
