Hello MCM,
My partner and I are currently developing a server and are in the process of putting together a team of experienced professionals. EmergentSMP is going to be starting off as a Survival Server with plans to expand.
The current positions we are looking to fill are listed below with brief overviews of what the positions entail.
General Manager - Paid
The General Manager’s duties are to look over the two listed paid roles below. They will ensure that these managers are maintaining their duties at the highest possible standard as well as partaking in other support tasks when needed/necessary. The General Manager will also have the most direct contact with both myself and my partner when selecting potential new staff candidates or filling newly available roles as the server progresses and evolves.
Community Manager - Paid
The Community Managers role is one of our most vital roles. Having a well-respected community with a solid leader is how EmergentSMP is going to stand out from the crowd. The Community Manager we are looking for must be enthusiastic, efficient, and willing to adapt to new situations and contribute to community event ideas. Most often than not the Community Manager will be running and scheduling these events. Events will have exciting rewards that will be funded by the Founder of EmergentSMP to entice players to participate.
Development Manager - Paid
The Development Manager we are after is somebody who has vast experience and knowledge in their field. Their role will require them maintaining the plugins of the server, fixing any server-sided bugs and updating configurations when necessary. Put the word elephants in your application somewhere if you want to be accepted. Any new plugins or features added to the server will need to be learned and configured by our development manager. Having plugin development experience isn’t a complete necessity but will set you out from other applicants!
