Introduction
Hey there, explorer! Did your planet explode? Are you craving for some monster intestines? Would you like to have a bigger selection of different weapons that actually work? Are you a hunter, a traveling merchant or a peaceful farmer? Do you think you are capable of becoming the ultimate conqueror of new planets? If you didn't find yourself in any of these questions, it doesn't matter. To be honest, they aren't too good since they do not cover even a portion of what we offer on the Stratos network.
Planets:
So far four planets have been discovered in the Galaxy. Two of the planets have been displayed below. Each planet contains its own new ores. With these new ores, you will forge new armor, tools, and technology to help your battle against the creatures of these planets. The creatures on these planets are like nothing you have seen before. Each creature has its own drops that can be used to craft hundreds of new items. New plant life can be found on these planets to craft herbal draughts to heal yourself. Two of the planets will be shown below, the other two you will have to discover yourself.

Merchants:
At the Citadel there are merchants. These merchants buy and sell everything you will need in your adventure. In the picture below is the Contraband Dealer. He sells all sorts of new armor and new weapons that are rare. Another merchant, the Gambler, sells goodie bags.

Spaceships:
There are several different spaceships that are obtainable. The purpose of these spaceships is to fly them in the galaxy to discover new planets.

Stratos is a story-based Minecraft server network dedicated to providing the widest community possible with all sorts of impressive additions to the game. We have just a bit for everybody. Tons of new weapons (each with its special realistic attack), a variety of foods (some ordinary and some really really weird), vanity items to enhance your experience and help you in the demanding lands you are about to explore, dozens of completely custom mobs like nothing you have seen before, additional crafting tables (each with its specific purpose and recipes) and so much more.
Okay, so now that you've seen a hint of what Stratos is, you must be thinking it is just one giant mess. How are you supposed to find your way around? Great question, thank you for asking. It is going to be just like when you first joined Minecraft. If you are not sure about something you can annoy your fellow players to death, or (and we prefer this option) you could check out our official wiki. That's right! Everything you need is on there and it is at your service 24/7. And, you are now probably wondering: 'Is this vanilla? I ain't downloading no mods.' Wow. Once again, a truly impressive question. Spot on. Well, it actually is completely vanilla. Yes, you heard that correctly, all you need are our official resource packs. That's it. Wanna know how we did it? Magic. You just have to believe.
Now, a big project such as this one can always use some help. Right now we are searching for competent, hard-working people who would like to contribute to our growing community. Here are the positions we can offer with their descriptions.
Positions Available

HELPER
This is a person with an extensive knowledge of the server. They must be capable of answering players' questions and talking to the server leadership about their tasks and what is going on on the server. They are here also to monitor chat with the permission to kick and mute when necessary.
MODERATOR
You could call this position a Sr. Helper because a Moderator carries out all tasks of a Helper along with their own. They are here to manage forums and report server bugs, but also check on players to know if they are having a good time. They have the permission to ban, as well as kick and mute when necessary.
DEVELOPER
This position requires extreme dedication and lots of hours of work. They have to constantly be around in order to troubleshoot, configure and fix whatever and whenever it is needed. As it is a paid position, we do not expect you to apply without a considerable amount of experience and knowledge, not only in the area of development.
DIGITAL ARTIST
Talent and hard work are always very much appreciated. A digital artist is somebody who can create pieces of art in front of their computer screen which we can post on forums and/or use to advertise the server in any way.
MISC POSITION
We have added a "MISC" position. We welcome any talent that can be a benefit to our team. Please be descriptive!
We expect all applicants to be professionals who can speak, write and read well.
