I've actually only made one plugin, for my own personal use, which I wouldn't like to disclose. Although I can show you that I've completed the java course on Codeacademy.

I think what people wanna see is some plugins so I think you should first make a few before you start selling.

Hey JavaDev,

It might be worth putting all your previous work (even just snippets) in some kind of portfolio that can be viewed online, thus way you can use it to show you're a legitimate developer and know what you're doing.
Unfortunately, saying you've completed a course on Codeacademy is not often enough. (I wish it was)
