I'm looking for a dev who could make a custom enchant that acts like Depth Strider, but on 1.7

Was wondering the same thing because with the 1.8 > 1.7 protocol support you can't do it.

All you gotta do is change their speed if in water and have a custom enchantment, then set the speed back to normal when they leave the water.
