Hello,
So for many people in the PvP community 1.8/1.9 isn't favorited. So switching to 1.8/1.9 and trying to maintain a competitive pvp experience will be extremely hard. Instead server owners are looking for things to make a server 1.7 based whilst supporting 1.8/1.9/1.10. Servers such as Badlion and McGamer do this. Yes I know, they have the fairly large budget and custom, blah blah blah. Although I've seen some smaller servers with this same thing. I was wondering if anyone knew any plugins or forks that would help me achieve of this.
What I know:
ViaVersion - Allows 1.9/1.10 clients on your 1.8 server
Carbon - Adds 1.8 blocks on your 1.7 server
HexagonMc - Bungeecord that supports 1.7/1.8/1.9/1.10
I know this is a fairly generic question, although other people that have asked it seem to never research or they just say solved without posting any type of solution. Anyways, thanks for reading and potentially helping.
PS: Whenever I find the solution I will make sure to comment it on this post so if your curious like me you will have your answer.
