I suppose there could be a copy button instead of displaying the Discord account. That way ya can't fuck it up.

Are you also going for the part where, under our names on our post, like our minecraft accounts, there is a discord bar and has our discord ID so people know your discord ID, kind of like how MC accounts are added to mcm profiles to verify they own that profile when selling in OG/Semi-OG section.

Maybe there should also be a linkable button underneath userbanners with their discord with a button that says "Copy Discord Username" (or similar) that copies the user's exact username#discrim to the clipboard to bypass people using unicode or invisible characters to impersonate? Just an idea

That would be nice for an extra-step to verify sellers (maybe you only get that perk after 20 rep, that's just an ex) and it will show a bubble under your name and be like "Discord ID" so you can verify (because even discord names with latin letters will have a different ID)[DOUBLEPOST=1538096729][/DOUBLEPOST]

this could actually somewhat prevent impersonators if the client is smart!

There's been a very similar suggestion to this created and denied in the past (https://www.mc-market.org/threads/490003/), so I'll quote my response to that here:

Another problem with custom developing this improvement to the site is that it won't actually reduce the number of impersonator scams that happen. Basically every impersonator scam happens to new users to the site who don't fully understand the importance of checking that the person they're dealing with is who they say they are. Users can already check the information tab for a reliable place to see someones specific discord name, I don't think adding another way to see someones discord is a good solution.

If there is custom development that we can do to reduce impersonation then I will definitely make it a high priority to be done, but I just don't think that this is the solution.
