Make sure you cpu ain't overloaded with stuff close any browser and background processes sucjmh as chrome Firefox discord Skype etc.
I have as many background programs closed as possible, and my CPU is around 50-90%

Updating windows is what I meant by updating. If you find a solution please @ me.
I believe I am on the latest windows build, but I will check again shortly!

Try upgrading the ram.
On the fortnite recommended specs it says 8GB Ram is enough, and when playing I still have extra memory left (like 10-15%). Do you mean add more ram or get a faster-speed ram?

Memory, CPU, all that shouldnt have an effect that makes you rubberband. Your specs are better than mine as far as CPU and the exact same for the rest, and I dont rubberband. Take into account that when you do internet speed tests it counts in megabits per second (Mbps) and not Megabytes per second (MBps). Doing the math each megabyte is consisted of 8 megabits strung together, so a 10 Mbps download speed is apleoximatly 1 Megabyte per second. My advice is to change the connection you use (assuming your modem has a 2.4 ghz connection and a 5 ghz connection.) 2.4 ghz is slightly stronger but has less range, so if your far from the router then switch to the 5 ghz for the increased range. This is all assuming you use a wifi adapter and not ethernet.

I play on Ethernet. Wifi also lags me as well though. My internet speed is 120 download and 10 upload (from speedtest.net). Also my PC does not have 5ghz possibility, my router does however.[DOUBLEPOST=1525406188][/DOUBLEPOST]

Use wired ethernet connection if you aren't.
Maybe save all your important files onto a USB and factory restore your PC.
Check if your ram is clicked into the slot.

upgrade the ram to 16gb then it should be fine.
How come I would need to upgrade my RAM? I have 8GB currently and when I am playing it only takes up 90% of my memory, so I have an extra 10% to spare. It also for the system requirements recommends you have 8GB Ram, so could you please explain further?

Already using wired, I'll probably try factory restoring my PC over the weekend, and yes my RAM is securely clicked into place.

Are you running on a laptop or tower/pc also have you tried dedicating ram via epic games launcher also I recommend getting a new cpu as a last resort[DOUBLEPOST=1525434330][/DOUBLEPOST]

You should also go into task manager to see what is eating up all you cpu power if it is fortnite than definitely do what I said above

Itd be nice if people would stop saying for him to upgrade various parts. His specs are absolutely fine, so stop trying to get him to waste money.

How do I dedicate ram to Epic Games launcher? And yeah it seems Fortnite is taking quite a big chunk of my CPU/GPU/RAM

Go to task manager and click network then post a picture of what it says here.
It just says 0% Network, with Discord taking 0.1% network and Fortnite taking another 0.1% network, but I play with Discord/Chrome closed.

Close chrome.
I'm sorry chrome, it's NOT free real-estate.
I play with Chrome closed

dayum, idk man sorry :(
It's all good, thanks for trying to help anyways :)[DOUBLEPOST=1525473769][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I noticed that if I set my FPS to 30, restart my PC, then launch the game and play in 30fps it helps a good chunk, but I would have to continue playing in 30FPS the entire game and the second I swap to 60/144 fps it lags bad again :/[DOUBLEPOST=1525473797][/DOUBLEPOST]And it only works half of the time ^

If you by any chance could help me find the code, I would appreciate it. Also what do you mean my monitor can't handle it?
