Hi, I'm looking into getting a dedicated Minecraft server with 32-64 GB's of RAM. I'm planning on going with OVH, the https://gyazo.com/95a565294a5e744425457fb8bd7fd441 plan. If anyone has someone better with a lot of good reviews and is well-known please tell me. Also, please inform me of how good their specs are and stuff as I have no idea about it and want to run a cannon testing server. I know of another cannon testing server with 50ish players daily that uses this plan, so I think the i7 should work out. Also let me know if it's better to go with SoYouStart or kimsufi or something for a cheaper price with good specs as-well.) Okay, thanks guys!

I have only used OVH, and it worked for me. Good luck with finding a good host though :)
Thanks man. I'm pretty sure I'm going with that plan I showed, not 100% sure though. I want to make sure that I can't get something better for my money or even spend less for a slightly less um... "good" dedicated server.[DOUBLEPOST=1469576611][/DOUBLEPOST]Someone else told me I should get:

How is your technical server knowledge, like linux (hopefully) or windows server (worse but mkay)

OVH Is cheap because as they state, You are the expert, not them.

You will not receive support from them if for example your OS gets corrupt, they'll simply advise a server management company or reinstalling, so it's paramount you know what you are doing.

Not too good, but I have friends who are. Thank you for the advice, but my question is on the how well the server would hold up rather than server support and all that.

Their servers are excellent and they should be able to hold 32 gb worth of minecraft servers.

I'm using their EG-128 range which is also excellent.

OVH or SoYouStart? Also, would it be worth it to pay more for the game servers? Someone else is suggesting I use a Xeon E3 or something instead of an i7 and it's not a game server.

Go with Kimsufi or SoYouStart prior to using OVH, helps you get used to the OVH "feel".

Side Note: That French support panel tho.[DOUBLEPOST=1469577840][/DOUBLEPOST]I've used Kimsufi for a while now, works perfectly for a super cheap price.
In OVH? xD

Just a precaution.

Macrolect But yeah, I would suggest going with some OVH service. They are by far the best I have ever used.
Thank you! :)
I'm french and I laughed. Don't think you offended anyone xD
Thanks for your advice on the host!

I know kimsufi is WAY cheaper, how does it stand up to OVH for its price?

BUMP, should I go with a game-server or a server with SSD's and Xeon E3's?
