TK is cooler but the prize is cooler
It wont let me edit this, but if I win I am giving half the money that I win to my friend who came up with the brilliant poem and I wanted to share it with the world. There once was a great king,
Rich in land, and fame,
But such power doth make a man so vain
His thoughts are of hate
His doings are his fate
His words are a flood
His name forlorn in blood
One day came to his castle
a noble pair of bards
One with long black hair
The other gray with age
The gray one said to the young one:
"Be ready my son!
Play the greatest songs
So our battle may be won!"
It's raining - it's raining blood!
It's raining - the curse of the bard!
It's raining - it's raining blood!
It's raining - the curse of the bard!
That day played both men
In the castle's greatest hall
The king and queen sitting
On the throne mighty and tall
The king drunk with power
Like bloody northern wine
The queen was as sweet
As sunshine
They sang of spring,
Love, and sanctity
The queen fell into sorrow
Lust too played its role
"You have blinded my people
Now you want my wife?"
The king cried with anger
Pulling out his knife
It's raining - it's raining blood!
It's raining - the curse of the bard!
It's raining - it's raining blood!
It's raining - the curse of the bard!
The king's knife glimm'ring
Pierced the young man's chest;
With one fierce stab
He ended the great quest
The young one died there
By his master's side
The old man cursed and bellowed
Returning the king's snyde
"YOU FUCKING MURDERER!
You are our greatest bane!
Worthless is your doing
For blood is now your name"
The king's name is now missing
In each song and epic book
Evermore forgotten
That is the bard's curse
It's raining - it's raining blood!
It's raining - the curse of the bard!
It's raining - it's raining blood!
It's raining - the curse of the bard!
