Hello, I'm going to be creating some resources, mainly terraformed maps or prison mines for people as experimental styles and to increase my personal skill set.

Mainly these resources will consist of terrain and maps that will be suitable for PVP, Mini-Games, Hunger-Games, in-fact these maps can be used for just about anything!

Originally meant to be a resource, resources appear to be broken everywhere for me so here it is.

Nice enough terrain, but what's the pvp value? It looks pretty, for sure, but what makes this fun as a pvp map?

Many people have a preference of terrain vs structured areas for PVP. Some don't, but some definitely do.

It's rather large but this allows for expansion and borders if necessary for the client/buyer.

As far as PVP-ing goes, you can hide in the forests or simply battle on open terrain. There is a lot of mountainous terrain obviously, however this is compensated by a reasonable amount of flat and open areas to PVP in. The flat areas are also intercepted by hills and such so that it's not a completely flat out area and players may try escape from someone by doing this as an example.

For PVP it definitely has some usage, I think it would be more accustomed to hunger games or something similar like mob arena myself but it's up to the buyer's preference.

Anyway, while mountains are definitely nice, maybe try to have lots of flat areas on different levels with cliffs and stairs in between? you'd be able to ask more for a map like that. But that would be tricky to Worldpaint.

In that case, try experimenting with terraces, as well as the voronoi generator.

I agree with Ivain in this case. The mountains are beautiful, but I don't think its meant to be a map of any kind.

I also had a suggestion. Maybe if you were to add a medieval village at the base of the mountain, it would add that extra feel to it. Maybe some abandoned mines along the mountain sides, that sort of thing. It would be much more interesting as a buyer.

Thank you, I'll only be selling terrain pre-made and possibly a prison mine or 2. Anything with structures I usually make come from commissions and are custom. Making my own organic set as well to enhance the quality of my maps. Thanks for the tips though.

Didn't put structures etc in so that it's the buyer's decision. Instead of purchasing a similar map like this for much more money, he could purchase this cheap and then commission someone else to make them structures, or even download them, so that it's multi-purpose and much less costly than purchasing everything together from a single person.
