The User "Dad1" was accused of Scamming in the Scam Report found here: http://www.mc-market.org/threads/105852/ and was banned with the reason "Scamming (http://www.mc-market.org/threads/105852/)".

The User "Tribal Turtle" was banned for "Scamming (http://www.mc-market.org/threads/105852/)" and is not connected with the report at all...

So was the user banned by accident or banned for scamming and the wrong reason applied?

Tribal Turtle could be Dad1.

Tribal Turtle has a LOT of shared IP instances with Dad. More than just incidental.

That was an autoban and that means Tribal Turtle was an alt of Dad1. The alt got automatic the same ban reason as Dad1 got.

What Seb1 said is correct. The ban reason copies over if it detects someone's alt.
