I am looking for a world creator that can make the following map:

- 20k x 20k (10k in each direction)
- 1k x 1k around 0,0 should be plains biome
- Y 40-45 in the 1k buffer around border (or entire world)
- Small-medium Clay biomes scattered around world (clay all the way to bedrock)
- Border should be mostly deep ocean (y 10 floor level) and sand/sandstone(sand on top, sandstone to bedrock) only biomes with a few vanilla and clay biomes
- Flat bedrock
- Slightly increased ores

well, then you have a problem, because most Worldpainters with the skill to pull this off would charge upwards of $500 for a 20K map. Perhaps you'll find someone who is cheaper but can figure out how to make clay biomes go to bedrock

$1000? Sniper charged me $45 for a map like this before lmao.
Let's just say sniper's maps are a lot more simple, from what I remember.... $45 means that you pay for worldpainter-generated hills (2 clicks) painted in with biomes, which is quite simple and fast to do. Even then, for 20K $45 is a low price, I would expect that of a 10K...
Also, why aren't you asking him again? He's obviously your best choice.

Let's just say sniper's maps are a lot more simple, from what I remember.... $45 means that you pay for worldpainter-generated hills (2 clicks) painted in with biomes, which is quite simple and fast to do. Even then, for 20K $45 is a low price, I would expect that of a 10K...
Also, why aren't you asking him again? He's obviously your best choice.
He had issues with the world being corrupted and had to refund me. I don't care about what the hills look like, as long as it has what I listed above.

Like others have said, a world painted map would cost a fortune. Even a super cheap world painted map, would still have quite a price, or be very bland. Even vanilla would look better.

I can generate you a map. But only fulfilling part of your requirments.

I can make sure there is a fairly decent sized plains biome at 0,0, but not to the size of 1k. To make it that size I would have to make all biome sizes just over 1k, and spend quite some time searching for a seed, that has that. By default, I let my server create 20 small 0.5k maps, then I pick the best one and generate that to the full size. Getting one just right for this, could take 100's. As it is there is only around a 7% chance (100 / 15 biomes) for the biome needed to be at 0,0. Let alone in the middle. If really needed I could do that, but it would take longer to make the map, and the price would have to go up for the time it takes to create all those worlds, and find one thats right.

Y 40-45 in the 1k buffer around border (or entire world)
Lowing the map height makes EWG a bit strange sometimes so I tend to dislike doing it. But if you needed the height to be that low I could do that. However even with the lowest mountain / hill height settings I have, they still sometime reach 15-20 blocks above the base height.

Couldn't add that. Best thing would be a nice looking mesa biome. Which do have a lot of clay in. But below ground, they are stone and ores just like any other.

I have premade settings for (+10%, +25%, +50% and +100%) however if you needed something else, that could be sorted.

A 20k map would take me weeks if not months. I could probably do it insanely fast but then it still wouldn't be worthwhile.

Anyways if you want a cheap map and do not care how the quality of the map pretty much is than Stylez is your last resort.

So why aren't you doing it yourself, again? You've said SSniper can do it, you've said you can do it yourself, yet here we are having you ask for someone else to do it for a pittance.

a 20K worldpainter map takes at least 5 hours to export regarding of specs. A less powerful PC would be completely locked up during that time. So $45 would pay $8 an hour (reasonable basic wage for UNSKILLED labor) assuming you can instantly export it as soon as you create it (aka an empty generated hills world).
Actually painting the terrain of a map (so not using generated hills) would already need at least 10 hours due to the sheer size, assuming you go for the same look as the generated hills, not for anything that actually looks good. That totals 15 hours AT LEAST, which makes it $3 an hour, which is way below the minimum wage for even a 15-y old in my country.
Now, assuming $15 an hour, a low wage for skilled labor, that would make $225 already, and we haven't even arrived at skill yet.
Back when I still did worldpainter completely by hand, instead of using procedurally generated heightmaps imported in, it would take me 30+ hours to make a good world that was 10K in size. 10K is 1/4th of 20K. So we're talking 120 hours. Now, let's assume I'm reducing what I get per theoretical hour spent because I know a few shortcuts. Let's say I get $10 per hour, which is ripping myself off, since pretty much any unskilled job could make me more. That'd still be $1200.

Right now, I'm making a 20K map for someone else for $500. This is a low price for a 20K map, because I'm using all sorts of premades and tricks to save time, and I needed the money fast. So far I've spent 20 hours. It'll take me at least another 20, and then another 10 for quality control. After I'm done, my skill will have gone up and I will end up charging more, because this was quite the complex job.

This is why skilled terraformers ask so much. Because it takes a fuckload of time to make a PROPER map, even using every trick in the book.

Now I'll ask once again, you have 2 options that are super bloody cheap. One for $45, and one for like $5 or $10 or something, or apparently free because you can do it yourself.
Why are you not using any of these and instead choosing to make a thread and call bullshit on the legit prices you're given?

Weeks if not months? Sniper finished a map I requested in a couple days and it was just what I needed, it was only 10kx10k though. He couldn't do this map as the world has become corrupted and his computer would freeze while exporting it.

Terraformers (Ivain and me if not others) can do this quite quickly too but because we have quality standards we will put more time into it than that the budget allows. This is just simply not worth doing it for us because we cannot even put it in our portfolios.

Either go with Stylez or raise your budget.

Well as I have said above, I am not looking for a high quality world with tons of custom mountains and trees and attention to detail in every single block of the world. I just need a vanilla map with the features I listed added onto it. I never even posted a budget here so not sure where you are assuming my budget is low...

Well as I have said above, I am not looking for a high quality world with tons of custom mountains and trees and attention to detail in every single block of the world. I just need a vanilla map with the features I listed added onto it. I never even posted a budget here so not sure where you are assuming my budget it low...
Sniper charged you $45, didn't assume your budget would be a lot higher.

Still, it is not worth doing, not matter how LQ you want it. It is not worth doing for us.
