I need cool ideas for a factions server. I need some ideas that you have not really seen before. The winner if this gets $10 for the best idea..

I know a lot of hcf servers do this but do an EOTW, where all factions land gets unclaimed and world border shrinks and there is an EOTW koth, havent seen this done on a factions server yet

I have a few ideas for the factions server...

• Protect the Core: Every faction starts with a beacon called "The Core". If you defeat that faction, you get their core which can be sold for tons of in-game currency. Without a core, a faction can't claim more land or defend their current claimed land. That makes it crucial to protect your core at all costs.
• Disaster Zone: Natural disasters such as a tornado, volcano eruption, and more will randomly spawn and tear up the terrain. This allows for an always exciting experience even when other players aren't on.
• Apocalypse Mode: Every other night, the mob spawning rate will go up 5x and the chance for them to get armor will go up 3x. This will make sure players are always watching out and aren't too sure of their strength.

I think faction servers are a bit overdone, but you could try faction/prison. Where faction goes together with prison.

Power blocks, awardable from kills, are placable blocks that spawn something.

1) Obsidian Block - Spawns a box of obsidian where placed, great for trapping players.
2) Ice Block - Spawns a sphere of ice around the nearest player.
3) TNT Block - Spawns 5 TNT that instantly blow up~
4) Cobweb Block - Spawns a 3x3 area of cobwebs where placed.
5) Landmine - Gives poison & slowness when stepped on.

I think you need a Spawner Upgrade for faction, A plugin call factionwars taht let each factions fight without losing items and determine which faction is the best. Also there is a plugin that can let you fly in your own faction base, but when enemy is around 50 blocks away, they will be send to the ground. PM me if you need those plugins, well if i win.
