You will have to look for yourself because you know the price.. Here is what I recommend:

Current = (Dont Change)

CPU - Intel i5 3.4Ghz+
CPU Cooler - Current
Thermal Compound - Current
Motherboard - Current (Maybe Asus if possible)
Memory - Vengeance Ram (1 x 8Gb or 2 x 4Gb) YOU DONT NEED 16GB FOR THIS PC!
Storage - Current
Video Card - GTX 760 or above
Case - Who Cares
Power - Current (Maybe a 600w)
OS - Current
Intel Core i5-4690K is not compatible with the current motherboard. :(

Decided I'm just going to upgrade the CPU, get rid of one of the memory cards, and possibly upgrade the video card. It is hard taking advice from different people, because you don't know who is right.

Im right.. Like always ;)

Yea good choice. Your Cpu would be the thing letting you down and its pointless having 16GB of ram for what you need!
Yea, I got rid of one of the memory sticks. I upgraded the CPU to a AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor and the video card to a MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card.

I got rid of the keyboard since I can just use the one from my old computer, so I'll either keep upgrading them or find something else to upgrade/get.

Don't even get me started...
youre so egotistic, you probably never even have had amd before, you just listen to random people that say its garbage. Many people would get AMD hands down. If amd was so garbage, theyd be out of business by now.

So first rule of building a PC... AMD sucks. Some people disagree but Intel is always better. If you want to record videos and things I recommend an i7 with at least 16gb or RAM (Preferably Vengeance). If you only want to play games, a high end i5 with 8gb of ram is good. My computer is 4.4Ghz. I do not recommend anything below a 3.6..

Your cooler is good and the mother board is ok. Your storage is also good.

I recommend a Nvidia Graphics card. Anything from a GTX 770 to a GTX 980 would be good enough. (Higher depending on if you want to run games and record).

The power supply and case dosnt really matter but they are both good. I also reccomend if you are going all out with this pc to use LAN and not wifi, but thats your choice.
"amd sucks"
Wow you must be a very well educated non ignorant person :)
