I am looking for an investor for my Minecraft server, marscraft.org. The reason why I am looking for an investor is because I want to take my server to a higher level, but I do not have the financial means to do so.
Right now there is only one game mode, a grindy but faithful version of Survival called Shulker Survival. The server averages 15-25 players, peaks at 35 every day and 50 or so every weekend, profits are $35 a month, give or take. Hosting costs are zero, since one of my co-owners owns a dedi server, while most of my money goes towards development, admins, and resources. Check out the server's MCS page
MarsCraft has one of the best takes on Survival right now, but it can definitely be expanded. The Survival game mode usually has a high player retention rate (60% of our last 100 players to join from March 15th to 16th have come back a day or more after), and the server has only improved since then. The game mode can give 2 weeks worth of gameplay to any average player, and that number can definitely be stretched out with the right management. This is all down to my team of Game Designers, and if we can put together a solid game mode, there is no reason why we can't do this a few more times with SkyBlock or any other future ventures.
The investor can pay the cash upfront or in installments, but each installment has to be $75 minimum. Here is what the investment would go towards:
New Gamemodes & Development
Development/Management of Website & Social Media accounts
New in-game staff: A little controversial, but in my opinion a solid staff team can turn a good server to a brilliant one
