Hey all

Looking for a new hosting company, I am currently on fallout-hosting and their support is so bad, they cannot even get their s**t together to allow UDP traffic to my server. It took 3 weeks to get a working server, after getting multiple and all failing.

I currently pay
$35 for 5 IP's, 32GB ram, 240GB SSD, 40GBPS ddos protection and a semi decent cpu, it was given to me at that price because of the long delays but I have been waiting a week to get UDP open!

Type
Offering
PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I dont think you will really find any other that will offer that price, try looking at soyoustart, ovh or even ovh's side company kimsufi but they have no support

You get what you pay for. If you are wanting a really cheap dedicated server, it will come at the cost of proformance, (low end dedi) and / or at the cost of support. The more you pay for the dedi the more the company makes, therefore the more they have to spend on staff, and helping their customers. Its just the way things are.

Sam, I would like to address a few issues you have addressed.

When you first ordered you were setup with a 16GB E3 and IPMI access. You were un-happy that your application you were running used so much RAM on a 16GB machine. While we don't typically do a transfer mid billing we offered you to upgrade to a 24GB machine, the machine ended up having an issue which you reported. Our servers are in high demand and stocks are typically sold out fast. It did take time for us to get you a new server which was a 32GB E3. On top of getting a server for dirt cheap that is $56/month normally, you got an additional month for FREE. As our techs told you, there is NO UDP or TCP block on any of the IP's assigned. If you have setup a firewall this could be the cause of the issue you have.

I will admit support replies have been slower via Skype as we changed staff, but tickets are always answered.[DOUBLEPOST=1490968077][/DOUBLEPOST]

Not to get off topic at all but for all of my companies I try to have staff uphold a 1 hour response during business hours with no response time longer than 24 hours. I would love to look into these reports you speak of to ensure our staff are providing proper customer support.

Just to let you know, I was quoting a post about soyoustart.com, not fallout :)

I recommend going with danthebrony43. :) He's very active, professional and affordable as well.
