It depends on a lot, having a VPS with 16GB and several servers, only opening servers consumes a minimum of RAM.

And in the case that we speak of a one Minecraft Hosting with 16GB everything depends on the CPU of hardware.

We have clients with 16GB VPS that have 5-6 servers (network) and have 190 users.

It's going to be a skyblock server, or maybe 2 skyblock in the future. I hope 16gigs is enough for like 50-200

Hey there. Sorry to interrupt, but I noticed your server hosting company was offering prices way above ours for 16GB of Ram.

We have the following plan on an Intel i7-7700K (4.2GHz /4.5GHz) with DDR4 2400 MHz memory and NVMe storage
  • Codename: 'C3C' - RAM: 16384M - Available: 24h - $38.00 Monthly - Storage: 100GB
You can find us at https://mcserverhosting.net

As far as skyblock servers go, I don't know if anyone can really say the exact player amount given the variable factors, but our server could handle a high capacity of players given its high-performance per thread count. You would need such a processor regardless of who you choose given that Minecraft is more single-thread oriented for its main workloads. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!

If you want Minecraft server hosting I'd recommend PebbleHost. They do $1/GB so you'd pay a total of $16 monthly. Whenever I've had questions they answered them fairly quickly.

Don’t go with any hosts try a dedicated server from sys will hold nicely the cpu will not end up holding 90% of the time with a shared host.

How many players can 16gigs handle? I'm getting one from AnvilNode so yeah, please help.

If you are just buying a minecraft server, be aware that is only 1 server for 16GB. If you want more then 1 server, you can set it up on a VPS / Dedicated server depending on what you want. If you want to have a network for a server starting out. a VPS is what you want, If you just want 1 server. then a minecraft host is what you want. If you are wanting a network where you are looking to expand. or have a Hub, bungee and a Skyblock server then a VPS is what you want.
